Our Philosophy

Choose Natural First – In a perfect world everyone would exhaust so-called “alternative medicine” before ever using drugs, having surgery or settling for other invasive procedures. There are many safe, effective and natural alternatives that do not have side effects, often reduce or resolve symptoms and more importantly improve function and overall health. Drugs only mask the problem(s), they suppress the symptoms but never get to the underlying reason the symptoms exist. Most natural therapies care for the person as a whole, getting to the CAUSE of the problem(s) while maintaining health and helping prevent disease. In some cases, like a crisis or emergency, conventional medicine may be necessary and beneficial but these are far and few between.

Live Proactive –  Take control of your health before it takes control of you. Prevention of disease and maintenance of health is more important than only treating symptoms when they occur. Health is a journey, if you strive to be healthy, you will be, but if you wait until you’re sick and suppress the sickness with pills, you will continue to be sick. Prevention is ALWAYS better than a cure!

Proper Nutrition, Regular Physical Activity, Wellness Chiropractic Care – Eat Well, Move Well, Think Well and you will be Well! Most people are sick for 2 main reasons: 1) Deficiency and 2) Toxicity. So let me explain. Until people make life-style changes they will never be able to be truly healthy. Health, as defined by the World Health Organization is a “state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.  To achieve a state of health, we have to function at 100%. To achieve 100% function we need to provide our bodies with the best foods, proper supplements/vitamins, be active, move, exercise, decrease stress and interference to our nervous system, build a strong immune system to fight infections, think positive, sleep  well, and be in touch with our spirituality. The above are all the most common deficiencies that need to be addressed.

On the other hand, we need to decrease the level of toxicity in our bodies. Toxicity is often due to a poor diet, large consumption of junk food, soda, fried food, products that are known to cause hyperactivity or neurological problems like high fructose corn syrup, food coloring and aspartame, just to name a few. We can certainly use a good nutritional cleanse once in a while, decrease the use and abuse of drugs (illegal, prescription or OTC) and vaccines, control alcohol intake and keep controllable pollutants to a minimum(i.e. cleaning supplies, cigarette smoke).  Making simple life-style changes can help create a new you. It is impossible to guarantee that one will never get sick, but one can certainly guarantee that the right choices can lead to the right outcomes most of the time.

Pain Reduction is Important BUT Improving Function is the Key Do you want to just patch your problems, suppress your pain/symptoms, cover-up the underlying issue(s) OR would you rather fix the problem, get to the root of the pain/symptoms and remove the underlying cause? The quick and easy approach never lasts, but what you put time, energy and effort into will. The objective should be to identify the cause while the priority is to correct the cause thus induce healing and restore optimum function. The latter is what Chiropractic Care is all about, promoting wellness and not just treating disease alone.

If you don’t have pain or symptoms and think your healthy…think again. As the image on the right shows, only a small portion of the Nervous System transmits pain. In fact, only about 10% of the nerves in your body sense pain. You can easily have nerve tension, nerve irritation and nerve signals being blocked without having any pain and you would never know.  “Feeling Good” does not equal Good Health…Good Health equals Healthy Function.

Are you ready to take control of Your health and function at Your 100%?
